FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your chocolate adventure.

How are you different from other tours?+
Our philosophy is simple: SEE, SMELL, TASTE, and ENJOY! We only run private tours — no big groups, no strangers. You get a dedicated guide who tailors the experience to your pace, interests, and appetite. We visit the finest chocolatiers in Paris, hand-picked for their outstanding quality.
What is a private tour?+
A private tour is organised exclusively for your party. You are the only participants, and your guide is 100% dedicated to your group. It means the tour adapts to your schedule, pace, and curiosity — no waiting around for other people!
Do you offer group tours?+
No, we only offer private guided tours. That's what makes us special — it's all about you and your group.
Who leads the tours?+
Our guides are passionate local food experts specialising in chocolate, pastries, and French gastronomy. Most hold university degrees in art history or food science, and all are fluent in English (and often German and French too!).
Are your tours kid-friendly?+
Absolutely! Kids who love chocolate will have a blast. There's no minimum age, but we find children aged 6+ enjoy it most. The tastings are generous and fun — even fussy eaters tend to discover something they love.
How long are the tours?+
Our tours last approximately 2 hours — enough time to visit several incredible shops and sample a wonderful variety of chocolates and pastries. Trust us, by the end you'll be delightfully full!
Can I book for just myself?+
Of course! Solo travellers are very welcome. You'll get the full private experience all to yourself.
What's included in the price?+
Everything! Your private guide, all chocolate and pastry tastings (4+ stops), and a wonderful time. The only thing not included is tips (appreciated but never expected).
What about allergies or dietary restrictions?+
Please let us know when booking and we'll adapt the tour. We can accommodate most dietary requirements — just mention it in the special requests field.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before your tour date. Within 7 days, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund — but we'll always try to reschedule if possible!
What if it rains?+
Our tours go ahead rain or shine — this is Paris, after all! Most of the time is spent inside beautiful chocolate boutiques, so a little rain won't dampen the experience.
What if I'm late?+
Please contact your guide or our office if you're running late. Your guide will wait up to 30 minutes at the meeting point. Note that the tour may be shortened to finish at the originally scheduled time.
Can I take photos?+
Most shops don't allow photography inside, but you're free to take pictures outside. Your guide will let you know at each stop.
What should I wear?+
Comfortable walking shoes are a must! We'll be strolling through beautiful Parisian streets. Dress for the weather and bring your appetite. 🍫
